FAQ
What do you do during birth?
I am there to capture as many memories of this beautiful day as possible - while being discreet and as out of the way as I can! Depending on your preferences, I will be in the background capturing what you want to remember the most.
What if I dont want my images shared?
No worries! There is a model release in our contract that you have the opportunity to sign. I am here to document this moment for you, not for me.
What happens if I have a C-Section?
Some medical procedures and individual hospitals have certain rules that are put in place. I will do my best to follow those guidelines and work something out with you during that event. Communicating with your doctors is the best way to get the information we need to put a plan in place.
How long will you be there?
Labor is wildly unpredictable. I am on call starting at 38 weeks. When you are in active labor, or roughly 5-6 centimeters, I will arrive. I will stay through the remaining laboring, and up to two hours after your baby is born.
Why is the package so expensive?
I completely understand this question. I have three boys myself and know that with each child, budgets become tighter. Like your wedding day, the birth of your child is something you will remember for the rest of your life. The pricing is based off of the unpredictable amount of hours labor will take, and the resulting editing of the images that I capture.
Will covid policies effect my hospital birth?
Unfortunately, covid has thrown many kinks in the works over the past few years. Some hospitals are strict with their visitor policies and only allow so many. As long as the hospital permits me to be there - I will!
